What is ForexWithAI?
ForexWithAI Heritage Desk Ltd. maintains a chart room and exhibition gallery on the Halifax waterfront devoted to foreign-exchange history and to scrutinizing academic claims about artificial intelligence in currency scholarship. We resemble a compact maritime museum of monetary documents rather than a financial services firm. Readers consult labelled folders, attend curator briefings, and depart with bibliographies — never trade tickets.
-
Are you a broker or investment adviser?
No. We hold no CIRO, CSA, or provincial registration in any securities-dealer, portfolio-adviser, or fund-management capacity. We do not custody client accounts, execute orders, or recommend specific securities or currency contracts. Readers requiring transactional services should consult the official CIRO member directory and speak with a licensed professional.
-
Do you publish live exchange rates or trading signals?
We do not broadcast real-time quotations, algorithmic alerts, or copy-trading links. Exhibit placards display historical rates frozen at documented accession dates for pedagogical purposes. Any comparison to present conditions remains verbal and qualitative during curator briefings — never a forecast or instruction to buy or sell.
-
What unfolds during a typical berth visit?
After registering at the heritage desk, you receive a floor plan and orientation sheet. Self-guided readers proceed to pre-selected exhibit modules; appointment holders meet an archivist who retrieves folders from closed stacks. Pencils and magnifiers are available. Photography is limited to designated zones to protect loaned materials. Sessions conclude with an optional guest-register entry — no sales presentation.
-
Can students earn academic credit?
We issue no formal transcripts. Several Atlantic universities nonetheless accept our curator-signed attendance slips as supplementary evidence for independent study modules. Instructors should correspond beforehand so worksheets align with learning outcomes. We cannot proctor examinations or grade assignments.
-
How do AI bibliography cross-checks operate?
Deposit up to five published statements about machine-learning performance in currency markets. Within roughly ten business days, Rohan Mehta delivers a memorandum mapping each statement to source papers, noting dataset identifiers, horizon definitions, and known replication failures. The service is editorial, not statistical — we do not retrain models or supply code repositories.
-
Is there an age minimum?
Unaccompanied readers must be sixteen or older owing to fragile holdings and quiet-room protocols. Younger pupils may attend school bookings with teacher supervision at a ratio of one adult per eight pupils. Content discusses historical crises and wartime controls in factual terms without graphic imagery.
-
Do you vend MetaTrader tools or automated bots?
We do not distribute, endorse, or install MetaTrader expert advisors or any automated execution software. References to electronic trading appear only in historical context — for example, describing when terminal access became common in dealer memoirs. Requests for platform setup will be redirected to regulated dealers or declined politely.
-
How are visitor particulars stewarded?
Correspondence form data serves solely to schedule berth visits and answer inquiries under PIPEDA. We do not vend mailing lists or share particulars with brokers. Session notes taken by curators rest in locked map cabinets and are shredded after seven years unless you request earlier deletion. See our Provenance policy for full particulars.
-
Are exhibits accessible?
The main chart room is wheelchair accessible via the Lower Water Street entrance elevator. Large-print placards and seated workstations are standard. Audio descriptions for FXWA-005 are available on request. Notify us when booking so staff can reserve aisle space and adjust lighting for low-vision readers.
-
Which settlement methods do you accept?
Admission and consultation tariffs may be settled by credit card, debit, or e-transfer in Canadian dollars at the heritage desk. Invoices include GST/HST where applicable under registration 334928761RT0001. We do not accept cryptocurrency or payment tied to trading profits.
-
May journalists cite your holdings?
Yes, with attribution to ForexWithAI Heritage Desk Ltd. and the specific exhibit accession number. We encourage linking to primary documents housed at public archives when possible. Curators are available for background quotes on archival method; they will not speculate on future rate movements or comment on individual securities.
Regulatory notice. ForexWithAI is a heritage reading desk dedicated to the historical and archival study of foreign-exchange markets and to the critical retrospective analysis of academic claims about artificial-intelligence applications to currency research. We are not registered with the Canadian Investment Regulatory Organization (CIRO), the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA), or any provincial securities regulator as a dealer, adviser, or investment fund manager. We do not provide real-time quotes, trading signals, broker referrals, leveraged products, MetaTrader expert advisors, or any form of currency-trading service. Foreign-exchange trading involves significant risk and is, in Canada, available only through CIRO-registered dealers; we are not such a dealer. Historical exchange-rate episodes presented as exhibition material are offered for educational and archival purposes only; they do not forecast future currency movements.
